The Buttermarket area will have our regular street market traders on all four days with its variety of stalls and great street food.

Our popular Dr Who exhibition returns in 2019 along with the Dr and Darleks. Find Dr Who near the aviary in the Abbey Gardens on all 4 days.

FARMERS AND COOKWARE MARKET
The Christmas Fayre Farmers and Cookware Market will be on Thursday and Sunday, over 25 stalls selling local produce and cookware which is baked, brewed, grown, gathered and made within 50 miles of Bury St Edmunds.
A CONSCIOUS CHRISTMAS
Haart's Community Marquee on the bowling green in the Abbey Gardens with three days of great entertainment including ‘A Conscious Christmas’ a one-day event on Sunday 24 November designed to help you have a happy, healthy and sustainable Christmas brought to you by Bury St Edmunds The Pop Up Gym.org
We are pleased to welcome Jason from Macaruba Caricatures. Jason is one of the fastest caricaturists in the business, each image taking 6-7 minutes to draw.
Visit Jason in the Abbey Gardens on Saturday 12 -5pm & Sunday 11am – 4pm
£15 per ticket and must be pre booked online at www.stedscathedral.org. Various days and times during the Fayre, tours last approximately 1 hour and includes a non-alcoholic drink and mince pie.
William and Wayne our friendly donkeys will be in The Cornhill on Sunday between 10am and 4pm.
ABBEYGATE DOES CHRISTMAS
Students from Abbeygate Sixth Form College have worked with local charity shops to curate a collection of winter ensembles on themes such as Christmas Party, Winter Workwear, Christmas Panto and Casual Winterwear.
The collection will be presented in a fashion show, modelled by Abbeygate Sixth Form College students and friends, alongside an ‘open mic’ at which Abbeygate students will perform. Showings of the fashion show/open mic will be at 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm in the Community Marquee, sponsored by Haart.
