RSPCA
The West Suffolk Branch is one of 150 local branches of the RSPCA that supports the work of the National RSPCA and its inspectors.
As a separately registered branch of the RSPCA, we are primarily responsible for raising funds locally to help animals in our area. Our animal welfare activities are mainly run by local volunteers and we raise money mainly through our shop in Bury St. Edmunds, but also through fundraising events, donations and legacies.
Our two shop sell various items ranging from ladies clothes to unusual bric-a-brac. We also collect items for recycling such as old ink cartridges, mobile phones, stamps, camera's and even broken jewellery. Even the clothing that we cannot sell, dvds and books, are all recycled to raise money.
