Farmers' Market - Buttermarket Sunday 1st December 2013
Suffolk Market Events, organisers of award winning Farmers’ Markets including Lavenham and Sudbury, will, once again be bringing a genuine, local Farmers’ Market along to Bury St Edmunds Christmas Street Fair. You can find up to 30 of the region’s very best, small scale artisan producers showcasing some of the highest quality, fresh, local produce, on the Buttermarket on Sunday December 1st. Everything that is sold at a Suffolk Market Events Farmers’ Market will have travelled no more than fifty miles and the person who is selling it, has produced it, so whether it has been baked, brewed, smoked or butchered, the customer can find out all about the processes involved – there are no hidden surprises.
Some of the fantastic producers showcasing at this year’s Farmers’ Market include The Duck Truck serving crispy duck rolls with hoisin, cucumber, spring onion and cranberry, the ever popular Scarlett & Mustard, producers of mouth-watering fresh, zingy dressings, sauces and marinades all hand-made using the best, freshest and, where possible, local ingredients, incredible home baked cakes from Mrs Kiddies Cakes and fresh, locally sourced game meats from shoots along the Stour Valley including pheasant, partridge, wild duck, rabbits, teal and woodcock.
